Although the most important part of Easter is celebrating the Atonement (I mentioned my feelings about it back here), it's also a fun time to start some family traditions.
Growing up, my mom always made these awesome bunny cakes. Here is my first attempt at one. It was so cute! I was so proud of myself for figuring it out on my first try!
Here we are coloring eggs for the first time. Well I did most of the dyeing, and Cheyenne scribbled on them with chalk.
Another fun tradition we get to have is a new Easter dress for Cheyenne. Her Grandma Dilsaver always buys the cutest ones!
Although I must say it is very hard to get a picture of a toddler standing still.
Here's my belly at 25 weeks. The last time I wore this dress was at my sister's wedding, and I was barely pregnant with Cheyenne.
I'm still feeling great as far as my pregnancy goes. Such a blessing.
We had our first Easter egg hunt. Here she is with a friend Michael. She loved carrying the basket around, but didn't really get the idea you were supposed to "find" the eggs. Better luck next year!
Here is a video of us dyeing the eggs.
