Two powerful songs

I love this first song so much, it is so powerful.

She expresses something that is often expressed these days, the feelings of not being enough. It seems to me that most people stop there, sharing what a struggle it is to combat these thoughts everyday. But what is so different and powerful about this song is her declaration of faith: "I believe." She believes Jesus Christ's voice that sends her the completely opposite message from the one she hears in her head. He tells her that she is loved, she is strong, she belongs. And she chooses to believe those words instead. It's so inspiring and motivating, I love to listen to it and remember that I can choose the message of Jesus Christ as well.

This one has meant a lot to me when things aren't working out the way I want them to, or I feel like I have to wait too long for things to change. I've been feeling fine about waiting for things lately, but when I have had bad days I love to sing her chorus to myself: "When you don't move the mountains, I will trust in you." Again, I love her declaration of faith. It's such a different message than we get from so many other sources about just giving in to those feelings or trying to fix things on your own. Her song reminds me of how much happier I am when I trust and allow God's timing to sort things out.
