Brown County State Park

The kids said their favorite part of the trip was breakfast.

Nope, not these gorgeous fall colors or tromping through the woods without a soul around, two things that really add beauty and wonder to life, I think!

Ben says, "This one's for all my fans on the blog."

We took a day during Fall Break to head down to Brown County State Park and stayed at Abe Martin Lodge (1 inn left!). It had an awesome small waterpark inside! Brown County is THE place to visit in Indiana in the fall. Because our fall has been so warm, we missed the peak, but it was still very pretty and we loved the charming inn! Oh and course, the breakfast.

This reminded her of Beary the Bear which she got from Glacier National Park.

We stayed in room 114 which reminded me of some awesome roommates I used to have :). My sister Haley also lived with me at the time! This was the apartment I lived when when I met Ben!

They have this cool covered bridge that you drive through to get into the park

Beautiful sunset on the way there

  1. Um, what was so great about the breakfast? Also, I'm coming to Indiana for a month and going to all your state parks!
