Easter in Montana

Happy Easter!
We spent Easter in Montana

Although most of actual Easter Sunday was spent like this, in the car for nine hours:

We went to see Ben's grandparents, so Cheyenne's great grandparents.

Here she is with Great-Grandma D.

Here is Grandpa D working in his greenhouse. He is nearly 92.

We took a beautiful hike.

The air was cool and crisp.

Cheyenne loves nature.

Goodbye Montana!

Goodbye Grandma & Grandpa D.

This is at the mountain pass on the Montana/Idaho border. They got a TON of snow this year.

This is Cheyenne's cute Easter dress from HER Grandma D (Sue).

All smiles!

Rice cereal

Our baby is 4 months old! The other day she was super super hungry, so I wanted to try rice cereal and see if it helped. She didn't really get it, but it was fun to try. Hopefully next month it'll stick a little better.

Here is a picture we took on her 4-month birthday:
Everyone comments about her BIG blue eyes.

Probably her favorite pasttime is sucking on her hands.

She loves to try and sit up.

For St. Patrick's Day I made Ben green eggs and sausage for breakfast. I even dyed the milk green!

Another culinary treat I made. Homemade hamburgers on whole wheat buns, baked fries, and banana chocolate shakes. Probably half the calories from fat as fast food, and soo much better tasting!

Ben was super excited to try rice cereal too, I guess.

Sarah gave me this hat a long time ago, and now it finally fits. I don't think that's how it's supposed to look, but look at those cheeks! I couldn't resist!

Baby bums are so cute. I couldn't help it.

And two videos for you.

#1 Cheyenne "growling" and sucking on her hands, with a cute yawn at the end.
